1. Heat the oven to 200°C
2. Heat the oil over moderate heat in a pan, and fry the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent
3. Tip the cooked onion & garlic into a mixing bowl, and mix with the remaining ingredients
4. Divide the mixture into four, and mould each around a skewer
5. Place skewers in a greased oven dish and cook for 20 mins
6. Serve with yoghurt dressing and flavoured fried rice or toasted flatbread
